Well, I'm a proud Mommy of two girls, 7 and 4 months. I recently moved back to my hometown after living in Maine for 13 years. I love to cook, and spend time with my family, when I'm not at work.
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to cook Italian foods, but in our house that is a few and far between meal. My dear hubby is a cardiac patient, so I cook a lot of heart healthy meals. I love to bake, and make fresh bread for my families daily use.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I can remember being as young as five and being in the kitchen with my grandmother. We were always cooking up something good. This is a tradition that I am passing down to my oldest daughter right now, and when my baby is old enough, her too.
My cooking triumphs
Italian Shoemakers Chicken. The first time I made this chicken dish, it took me four hours. It was yummy and it made such a mess in the kitchen. But now after four years of making it, I've been able to cut the time, and most of the ingridients in half, and still come up with a yummy, lemony chicken dish!
My cooking tragedies
My tragedy..oh my...the first time I ever made lasanga. I was scatter brained that day, and forgot half of the ingridients. Well it turned out like burnt rubber.
