I am a widow of 4 years that has had to learn to make smaller portions than I used to. I am a person that likes the simpler things of life and enjoy the smiles that I bring to family and friends when I cook for them. I love to make soups and casseroles that I can freeze or warm up the next day. I also love to bake and make cookies for my grandkids. I'm a simple person that likes to make simple and easy things for friends and family. Our family traditions are Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone picks their favorite dish and dessert. For Christmas eve it's snack night with simple appetizers and plenty of cookies of all kinds. It's still a big affair but much simpler tha in the past.
