I agree with all the prior reviews of it being slightly bland. Great recipe to start from though, has some great elements that make it a little different. I also accidentally made it with corn bread mix instead of buttermilk, but it turned out pretty good. So, I will surely try it again but will be more creative :)

FABULOUSLY easy and delicious!! I added potatoes to the bottom instead of foil. Stuffed the chicken with stove-top, rubbed it with poultry seasoning and garlic salt, and threw a few carrots on top. It fell off the bone, had to go picking through the veggies to get all the meat :) Everyone loved it!

Great soup!! I made it on the stove because I'd forgotten it was a slow cooker recipe, and it still turned out great. Can't wait to do it in the crock-pot!!!
