This cake was okay, but not great for the amount of work it required, it was also really messy. The cake turned out a little too eggy for my taste and the filling too tart.

The original recipe for the dough did not work, when I had everything in the bowl and stirred it looked like crumbly dry pre-water pie crust stuff. I added a few large dollops of sour cream and a squeeze of lemon juice and the dough came together nicely. I took previous reviewers' advice and I rolled the dough into a log, I put the dough log in the freezer, which made it so much easier to slice with a sharp knife. I cheated because I got impatient with the thickening process for the filling so I added a little bit of cornstarch-water solution. Overall a delicious crispy, light cookie, the filling is not too sweet, but has a nice tang to it.

Too thick and bland. Would not make again.

One of the easiest soup recipes I've encountered. Definitely browned the onions. I substituted the sherry for red wine and use a mix of white cheddar and Parmesan it turned out just fine. Family loved it!

Surprisingly easy mess free recipe. I added 5 tablespoons of sugar instead of the 3, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon instead of 1/4, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg instead of a pinch, half a banana more and they turned out great! My brother had them with ice cream and said they were delicious.

Great recipe! Family absolutely loves this dish, easy and quick to prepare on weeknights.

Too oily, for my taste, I used the modified baking times and the brownies still came out very very mushy. Baked them for an additional 25 minutes and the brownies still came out too soft.
