About this Cook
As a family with 6 children it has been a challenge to suit everyone's palate. Instead of figuring it out, which was impossible, my husband and I decided to work at expanding them. We stopped serving several different versions of dinner and kept throwing new stuff at them. Surprisingly, it has worked. Hm. We live in a cozy log house in Alaska, run sled dogs, have constant company(who doesn't want to visit Alaska?), and love to cook together.
My favorite things to cook
I love finding spicy, flavorful recipies. During our cold, dark Alaskan winters we need all the warming up we can manage. Comfort stews, soups, and dishes are the norm for our family. We consider ourselves hunters and gatherers; Moose, Caribou, interior bear, salmon, halibut, cold water prawns, king crab, artic blueberries, and low bush cranberries fill the freezer. I am always looking for new recipies !
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom's Swedish Meatballs on Christmas Eve are a must. Rib roast and roasted potatoes etc for Christmas Day, feeding lots of hungry folks.

Easy Greek Yogurt Cucumber Sauce
Delicious! Easy and quick; lovely adjectives. Served with Triestine Cevapcici and the family were wild for it. Thanks for the recipe. It is a keeper.

Triestine Cevapcici
My family loved this! I used the revised version from TiKiWaHiNe's comment. I suggest you re-submit the recipe for it is scrummy. I had to use cayenne instead of hot paprika which worked out fine. We warmed up some Pita bread, chopped up some lettuce and tomatoes, and topped it off with Tzatziki. Thanks for the great recipe! My family adore me. Tra-La
