About this Cook
I am a "random" cook. I randomly add things that seem like they ought to enhance the dish, and then can't remember exactly what I did. I have been cooking for over 30 years and each dish is still a new adventure. I rarely measure anything, and I don't like making dishes that require a lot of attention beyond whipping stuff out of cabinets,into the bowl and then into the oven. I hate things that cant be portioned out and reheated later. Currently I am being forced into adventures in low sodium cooking. What a challenge!

Apricot Chicken II
This is a good recipe with a very delicate flavor to the sauce. I used 4 breasts instead of 6, apple cider vinegar and sprinkled "Mrs Dash Spicy"(R) over the breasts before adding the sauce. During the last 10 minutes I rebasted the breasts with the hot sauce and threw a handful of slivered almonds on top of each breast. I served it on buttered brown rice and added Mrs Dash Table Blend. I think it will be even better reheated when the sauce is a little thicker.
