Great idea. I added 2/3 c granulated sugar, changed confectioner sugar to 2/3 cup, salt to 1/2 tsp, 2 tsp vanilla no almond and added 2/3 cup flour. Tasted like a butter cookie. Don't try and use sugar cookie, way too soft of dough for keeping the shape of a finger. I made them, froze them on wax paper, then placed in zip lock bag and baked them when I needed them, the nail stays fine, if you want to "gloss" up the nail, paint with corn syrup after baking, also a good glue if you don't want red icing...IF the nail falls off.
