American Lasagna

wonderful, easy, turns out great. I added mild italian sausage with the ground beef and an 8 oz can of tomato sauce, just for moisture. It was a hit. Thank you.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
amazing, simple. Kids and husband loved them. I didn't have sour cream on hand, so I used vanilla lowfat yogurt, worked the same with the baking soda. I pressed out dough then pressed in frozen berries, cut triangles from square/rectangle. Baked convection at 350 for 15 minutes, won't buy scones again, can't wait to try raspberry...

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
did exactly as recipes says, wonderful. Before dredging chicken through mixture, cube some potatoes, spray with pam, and sprinkle over the top, turns out wondeful and you won't waste the mixture. But spread mixture BEFORE you dredge chicken through.....also thinking of trying it over green beans....

Almond Crunch

did exactly as recipe suggests. I think the others might be using electric stove,...maybe, mine on medium heat didn't burn at all, I've made it ten times at least. Didn't stir at all during the hard crack stage, 300 comes out perfect. Can't stop eating it...thank you so much for a great recipe

Garlic Prime Rib

wow, great. Did as others suggested, 450 for 20 minutes then about an hour and a half at 325 for perfect pink meat. Used the amount of rub listed for a 5.0 lb roast, all over is best,...wow great recipe. Thank you

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
Tastes great, did exactly as recipe says. PERFECT!!! I would suggest, since you are pureeing (sp) one pumpkin, do a couple, a pumpkin will give you about two pies worth. I freeze mine in 2 cup containers, and thaw when needed, this way my family gets this all year for the next year. They love it. I use a braun stick blender, easy pureeing and great turn out everytime. Thank you

Crescent Mummy Dogs

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Great idea. These were made the night before I needed them, cooled on a wire rack so not to get soggy and heated great the next day. I patted dry the hot dogs, this way the dough sticks easily. Also froze the left overs and will heat as needed. Freezes great, reheats great. Thank you for the neat idea.

Spooky Witches Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
Great idea. I added 2/3 c granulated sugar, changed confectioner sugar to 2/3 cup, salt to 1/2 tsp, 2 tsp vanilla no almond and added 2/3 cup flour. Tasted like a butter cookie. Don't try and use sugar cookie, way too soft of dough for keeping the shape of a finger. I made them, froze them on wax paper, then placed in zip lock bag and baked them when I needed them, the nail stays fine, if you want to "gloss" up the nail, paint with corn syrup after baking, also a good glue if you don't want red icing...IF the nail falls off. Thank you soo much

I used chicken legs with skin and chicken breasts with skin, baked on cookie sheet at 400 for about 1 hr, made lots and froze extras for quick meals later. Tastes great, thank you!! Chicken with the skin is fabulous

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
wow, great. I would do less pepper next time, but it was wonderful. If you need a good clam chowder recipe, omit ham and add clams, it would be like Mo's in Taft Oregon....very very wonderful. Thank you I didn't peel potatoes, still turned out great, very tender

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

This was incredible. It actually freezes well too, but my suggestion is use a good chardonnay. I used Kendall Jackson which made it great. I also used half and half, not heavy whipping cream. Perfect recipe...
