I have a wonderful wife and awesome children! I love the outdoors and the simple life! LIFE IS GOOD!!!!! Too numerous to mention but I'll try. Homemade pasta, artisan bread, soups and stews, cakes and pies, cookies w/ fondant, cheeses and yogurt....in general good wholesome foods with fresh ingredients! I always sat on the counter when I was little and helped my Mom. She was never to busy to let me help. *sigh* Fond memories! We also used to bake and decorate Ginger Bread Houses every Christmas and give them away! As my kids say, I always have an "obsession". Right now I'm loving my artisan breads and simply LOVE working with yeast and the dough. I'm a scientist and bread baking is a combination of microbiology, chemistry, and art. Plus there something about creating something so wonderful out of flour, salt, yeast, and water. There are no tragedies....you always learn from your mistakes!!!!! If you are really wise, you learn from other's mistakes!
