Hummus III
I followed the recipe, and I found it very difficult to make in the blender. The mixture was so thick that only the bottom of the pitcher would blend. I had to stop every five seconds and stir the big pieces down to the blades. I think a food processor may be better, but I don't have one to try and find out. The end product was too thick. I see many reviews recommending adding water from the beans or more olive oil to thin out the hummus, and that is probably a very good idea. I will definitely do that next time. The flavor was okay. Not as good as Trader Joe's, but good enough at a quarter the price for me to keep trying with variations. I will add more liquid, and some peppers.

Whole Wheat Beer Bread
This is the first loaf of bread I've ever made, and it was very easy and tasty. I used a Yuengling Black & Tan, and did not deviate from the recipe. My partner and I each give it four stars. It tasted good, but was simple and a little chewy. I will definitely use the base of this recipe and play around as other users have.

Banana Oatmeal Cookie
These were great! I used applesauce instead of butter to bring the calories down. I also added some chocolate chips to half the batch, and they were a good bonus. The rest was according to the recipe. A slightly crisp shell keeps the inside moist. When I make these again, I will use twice as much walnut, though. I could barely detect the nuts in them.
