I am a married woman with 2 younger children whom also like to help cook. cookies, cakes, pies, anything chicken... well, I am pretty much open to trying anything. Runza... I received the recipe from my mother that my grandfather used to make. I don't know anything about it's origin, but I do know that it is wonderful and my family loves it! I made Runza for the first time and part of the recipe is making a sweet dough by hand from scratch. I did it on the first try and it tasted awesome. When my husband and I first started dating, I started dinner at 4:30pm (steak and white rice with vegi's) to surprise him. He didn't get home from work until around 11:30pm and the rice was not ready yet... it helps if the pot of rice is not set on LOW :) But, none the less, he was surprised and he still married me!!
