Honestly, I pretty much "guess"timated and it turned out FANTASTIC! I used Duncan Hines devil's food boxed cake mix, four bananas and the amount called for on the back of the box for the eggs and oil. I first added about 3/4 to a cup of water until the batter was moist and of good consistency and baked in the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center came out clean. This was a good mix from everyday banana bread which I make quite often. Next time, I will make these into MUFFINS as they are very moist, light and full of chocolate and banana flavor! If this recipe does not turn out for you, PLEASE TRY AGAIN! If you love chocolate and banana, this is awesome!
