About this Cook
I started cooking when i would visit my grandmas down in Port Charlotte, FL. I've always helped in the kitchen with my family during holidays or just for dinner. I started getting interested and started cooking when i was with my grandma and great-grandma. I love desserts, and i feel that is my strongest specialty. Im young, just a teenager and i love cooking. Born and raised in Florida, but have family in Georgia and Tennessee, visit often, learn new recipes, try new foods; LOVE THAT SOUTHERN COOKIN'!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, Breads, Pizza, Pasta, Cultural Recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
"Southern Cookin'"
My cooking triumphs
I can make easy things the best. Chicken, Side Dishes, Desserts, Casseroles.
My cooking tragedies
The things i usually mess up are: is multi-layer cakes, gravies.

Pumpkin Cheesecake
One word-AMAZING ! I really love pumpkin, and who doesn't like cheescake?? Its perfect! I made some changes for my personal preference and from other users reviews. I used brown sugar instead of white in the filling (like one user), but I used white in the sour cream topping. I also used a few good shakes of cloves in the filling, and i added cloves and ginger to the topping to jazz it up some. For the topping, I used 1 and 1/2 cups of sour cream instead of 2, i used about 6 tbs. of white sugar instead of 2 tbs., and i finally added Frangelico Hazelnut Liquer instead of vanilla because i think it tastes so much better in desserts like these (and I added 2 tsp. of that.) But, this is just how i experimented with my personal tastes; and it came out wonderful.Maybe a little soft in the middle, but hey, it doesn't bother me! Very good! Loved it! Thanks. :)

Pumpkin Loaf
This is a splendid recipe! I love anything pumpkin so this of course sounded good (especially with cream cheese.) Even though the baking time is like an hour, its totally worth it. My dads girlfriend and I just watched a show and talked and it was done by the time we were! Even my sister, who doesn't care too much for pumpkin, loved it. I added extra pumpkin to it because i love it so much, and it still came out moist and soft. Great recipe! Staying in my recipe box! :)
