I am a proud Navy wife following my husband all over the world! Simple, traditional meals that feel like they take hours to cook but as really easy. I am fan of the slow cooker (makes everyone look like a rock star in the kitchen) and grilling. My mom is French so I love that I learned so many recipes from her. These are incredibly simple meals but have a great deal of flavor. My homemade vinaigrette (no bottled dressing in this house!), cedar-plank salmon and stuffed cornish game hens. It took me a long time to learn how to make a decent gravy!
