Good flavor. I used chopped brown onions instead of green. Cooked it in a slow cooker and added a can of diced tomatoes (drained). I also used honey instead of sugar and cumin instead of oregano. I used the juice of a whole lemon (didn't have lime) Will use the leftovers on nachos. Easy and tasty recipe.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Baked Pork Chops I

I was not impressed with this recipe. It was not bad, but far from great. The cook time was too long. My pork chops turned out dry. I chose a really lean cut, so maybe that was the reason. Won't be trying this again.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

OMG!!! So good. I used bread flour for a chewier cookie. Substituted water with lemon juice. Used brown sugar instead of white sugar. I also ran out of cloves so used nutmeg, but will try with cloves next time. Amazing cookies. Thank you.

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Great recipe. My husband loved it. I added the juice of half a lemon to the apple mixture. Excellent with vanilla ice cream.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

I made this last night and all my guest loved it. I used haIf bottle of a darker beer and 1 can of beef broth. I tried Baby Ray's Honey BBQ like many suggested and it was great. I tried the leftover pork for dinner tonight using Jack Daniels Hickory Brown Sugar and I would definitely recommend Jack Daniel's. My husband agreed. I also added caramelized onions before putting it in the oven. Served it with provolone cheese and hamburger buns. Delish!!! Tasty and easy. Thank you for sharing.
