About this Cook
I live with my boyfriend, our two parakeets and three fish. I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing World of Warcraft online and watching HBO's new series True Blood!
My favorite things to cook
Anything quick and easy! Goulash, stir fry, anything that comes outta a skillet! I hate using the oven, well getting things out of the oven anyways! I don't mind putting them in there.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Deviled eggs, green bean casserole, turkey in a brown paper sack
My cooking triumphs
A Tex Mex dish I make a home that all my family and friends, love!
My cooking tragedies
First time I tried cooking bacon in the oven it was cooking so perfect... till I forgot about it! There's the saying what's out of sigh is out of mind, well it was!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy
My husband and I really liked this recipe. It was my first time making country fried steaks and it turned out awesome. I used butter instead of lard but it kept sticking so I switched to oil which helped keep the breading together. First attempt at making gravy from stratch too! Gravy came out wonderful just like my mom's. Great recipe, very easy too!

Easy Tuna Casserole
I normally don't eat tuna but my husband loves it. So I tried this recipe, and I actually, well love it! I even went back for seconds it was so good. I of course used tons of cheese. But I'm so glad I found and tried this recipe it was well worth it!
