Great recipe! Loved it, but had to use organic raisins because that was all I had in the house. I will try with golden raisins next time and it may be better with those because they are plumper. Husband hates raisins and still ate this:)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Good!!! I had to use chicken broth though because I didn't have any beef and I let it sist and marinate overnight in a ziploc in the fridge, flipping it in the morning and cooking it late afternnon. I served this to my pastor and his wife and they absolutely loved it , as did all of the other guests! I recieved all rave reviews and they all talked about it for months after. It was mouthwatering, juicy and delicious!

This recipe was not good. I am surprised that all of these people loved it. I think they were too crunchy and not chewy. Myself and all of those that tried them loved the other recipe, best chocolate chip cookies, by Dora on here. They were light years better and I will not try this recipe again. Sorry.
