Baked Ham Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
The spread for this sandwich was really unappetizing. I didn't like the smell after I'd made it, but thought maybe once the sandwich had heated through, it might taste good but no it didn't. Not for me, sorry.

Veggie Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
I did everything as instructed and my pot pie filling is an ugly dark brown color and smells quite unappetizing. I used Swanson Veg. Broth from the can, it was a reddish brown color when it came out. After seeing the results, I would strongly advise others not to use this brand when making this recipe! It's so disappointing, I'm sure this recipe makes a good pot pie. I'm curious to know what brand of broth others users used in their recipes, all the photos have lovely light colored filling. No matter what, I'm still giving it 4 stars since I'm sure it was the broth and not the recipe that was the mistake.

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
I gave this four stars instead of five because I decided it needed a few adjustments for my household. For one thing, I didn't use the cheese on top. Don't get me wrong, we all love cheese here, just not in our tuna casserole. I also simply crushed up Saltines instead of using bread crumbs and melted butter. I tried this recipe the original way first, with the bread crumbs, and just didn't care for the taste. Other than that, this is a great recipe. I also increased the amount of veggies used, not because I'm some lame-brain who thinks that veggies=healthy, but because I really like veggies in my casseroles.

Chocolate Spiders

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
I've made this before, but as a Christmas treat (I got it from my husband's aunt who called it "Reindeer Poo"). We make it with a bag of butterscotch chips as well as a bag of chocolate chips, which we actually just melt in the microwave and it always turns out great. Don't be turned off by the butterscotch chips if you aren't a fan, I can't stand butterscotch on it's own, but it's delicious in this recipe.
