Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies
These are some confusing cookies. On first bite, I thought it was very very delicious. However, they're so sweet and "fat" tasting I find each additional bite less and less appealing. They remind me a lot of the cookies they sell at Subway, which I find have the same problem. Could be just me though! As recommended by others, I added 1 tsp vanilla and 3 cups oats. Baked for 8 mins.

Apple Breakfast Bread
Really good! My boyfriend described it as "banana bread with apples" which is a pretty accurate picture. I made a couple changes based on suggestions: half white sugar, half brown, and I replaced the 1/2 cup butter with 1/4 cup butter and 1/8 cup oil. I also probably increased the apples; I used 4 smallish, chopped fine. All together, very good! I might try adding some sort of crumb topping next time.. because I can't leave recipes well enough alone!

Mall Pretzels
I tried this recipe once, and while it turned out fine, it wasn't up to the standard of the other recipe on this site, "buttery soft pretzels". I found these to be a little flavourless and not as good a texture.
