Country White Bread
This bread came out PERFECT! I only had one egg so I had to half the recipe to make only one loaf, but next time I might even double it to make 4 loaves! We just pulled it out of the oven and the loaf is half gone already! When I was young my Mom always brushed the tops of her fresh bread with a little butter or crisco to keep the top a little softer so I did that with mine, too. I will definitely make this recipe again!

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake
I made this for a cake walk fundraiser and was not very impressed with the results. The cake took about 15 minutes extra to cook (like other reviewers stated) and when I cut a small part of the bottom to taste it didn't taste very sweet, very mild tasting cake. The frosting was difficult to make for me. I think maybe it needed to cook longer? I cooked as the directions stated, until the brown sugar dissolved and then whisked in the powdered sugar but it was VERY runny and ended up a little grainy. It also cooked a lot more than was needed. It tasted and smelled good, but the texture was just too grainy to get over for me. I might try this again for my husband and I because the recipe SOUNDS so good, but my expectations are pretty low for the second attempt.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
This soup was great! Super easy to fix and easy to modify if you need to. I didn't have canned tomatoes with chiles, so I used a can of diced tomatoes and threw in some green salsa. My husband doesn't like spicy chiles/soups, so he added some ketchup and honey to his bowl plus some shredded cheese and he LOVED it! I ate mine spicy but will compromise and probably make it with ketchup and honey in the crock pot next time. I also skipped the chili beans and only used one can of black beans, as he also doesn't like a lot of beans in his soups. Topped with sour cream, shredded cheese and crushed tortilla chips this soup was FANTASTIC! :)
