This gravy was fantastic! Don't fear that it keeps the sausage in there the whole time; it thickens up just like it's supposed to. The only problem is that it was too much sausage for us. Next time, we're going to buy turkey sausage, and only use half. I would recommend starting with half and tweak it next time you make it to save health and money!

This was the best German chocolate cake I've ever had, and people are begging me for the recipe. It's important to remember that this does NOT make enough frosting. Use the frosting on the Baker's German Chocolate recipe card. The cake part is very similar, but a little different. The frosting is exactly the same, except the one on the card makes more, which is necessary for this cake. Also, if you like the semisweet chocolate, melt double the amount to drizzle on the top. This cake is worth all the trouble!

Incredible recipe. The icing is so good, especially if you reduce the sugar by a cup to bring out the cheese flavor. I'll be making this icing for other cakes too.
