I love to cook and entertain. My husband and I use to cater small events in San Diego before we moved to Georgia. We are just making new friends here and hope to entertain once again.

Crab or shrimp stuffed wonton appetizers; quesadillas, Mexican quick dish casseroles, My mother's spagetti sauce and potato salad; Salads;
My favorite family cooking traditions
Getting together with the grandchildren on different holidays to teach them how to cook and bake ... I feel that teaching each of the kids the basics of how to cook is essential.
My cooking triumphs
Catering for a sit down wedding reception buffet with 200 guests with NO kitchen available!! We brought our camping stove and 84 cup coffee urn (to have HOT water!!) and fixed most of the foods at home and transported it. The menu was: Roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, coconut crusted chicken skewers, 3 different flavor Hot Wings,Spinach and bacon mini quiches, Broccoli CHeese Quiches, Cream Cheese & Salami appetizers, Crab Rollups; Fruit trays, Vegetable trays, Coffee, Tea, cookies!! The venue was at the beach but the kitchen at the reception hall was ONLY for their catering company; the rooms we had had only countertops and a sink with COLD water!! It was a huge success... We also did all the table decorating and provided 2 lighted netting swagged archways...

I love to experiment with different spices, herbs and come up with my own unique recipes. Variety is the spice of life.. so go for it.
