I am enjoying living in the beautiful northwoods of Minnesota with my husband and our five kitties BC,CC,Penney,Mower and Wee Willie. I love to create things which is probably why I like to cook, knit and crochet, paint oils, jewelry making and gardening. My favorite cooking experience is many ingredient recipes, especially casseroles and soups. I love the smell of baking bread. Actually I just love cooking! We love breakfast for supper and when the weather turns cold stews and soups are an often requested meal with homemade bread. My husband went hunting with a friend and brought home a pheasant he bagged. Never fixed any kind of game in my life, but it turned out as well as any cook could wish for. I made a beautiful birthday cake for my two boys, but I tripped carrying it down the stairs. Managed to save it till the very last two steps where I ended up with my face in their cake. The boys, of course, thought it was great. At least it didn't end up on the carpet and we managed to salvage enough to light candles.
