I am a mother of two. I am currently working on my masters and not working. That has given me time to learn more about cooking and I am really enjoying all the cooking I have been able to do for my family. Breakfast. I make a real breakfast every morning for my kids, pancakes, waffles, cinnamon buns, eggs, or oatmeal usually. They never go to school on cold cereal. My mom makes bread every Sunday morning. Our family only eats homemade bread. She grinds the wheat and everything! A few years ago I made Christmas dinner for 16 people. I used Bon Apitite's Christmas dinner and made everything on their menu, it took 3 days. The Candied Pear Tart was the best. =) It's usually Mac and Cheese actually. I put it on for the kids for lunch and most often I forget I had put the noodles in and the water evaporates leaving me with a burnt noodle mess. I usually have to throw away the pot.
