I am 23 and have lived in the Las Vegas area my entire life. Things are pretty hectic now and I wish I had more time to cook and experiment with new recipes. My husband enjoys being my guinea pig and is always willing to try new things, so when I get a chance I will play around with an old recipe and modify it for my taste. When I was a teenager, my skills in the kitchen were limited to baking- chocolate anything is my speciality. I was actually quite timid of trying different flavors and casserole was a dirty word. Most of my experience in the kitchen stems from my mom and actually working in a fast foos restaurant. Now I'm willing to try pretty much anything. I have three fallback recipes that I go to when I want a good meal, each of which come from a different background. Based on my mood I will either do enchiladas, pasta, or chili.
