I love surveys and I love food... this is perfect.  :)

1. How do you like your eggs?
Baked into a cake or crispy meringue cookie.

2. How do you take your coffee/tea?
Iced tea.  I don't really like hot beverages.

3. Favorite breakfast food:
Bagel with cream cheese and lox or cold pizza.

4. Peanut butter: Smooth or crunchy?
Either.

5. What kind of dressing on your salad?
Blue cheese.

6. Coke or Pepsi?
Coke Zero

7. You’re feeling lazy, what do you make?
Macaroni with ricotta, butter and Parmesan.

8. You’re feeling really lazy. What kind of pizza do you order?
Goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes and pesto.   Or pepperoni and pineapple.

9. You feel like cooking. What do you make?
Just about anything!  I love trying new recipes on my family and friends.  Any kind of baked goods from scratch.  I also have a weaness for comfort foods including various varieties of mac and cheese and my great grandma's tuna casserole recipe with homemade biscuits on top.

10. Do any foods bring back good memories?
My mom's million varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches.  Homemade popsicles.

11. Do any foods bring back bad memories?
Quiche Lorraine.  Already not an egg person, had it and got really sick.

12. Do any foods remind you of someone?
Circus peanuts and mellocreme pumpkins remind me of my mom.  Portuguese beans and linguica remind me of my grandma and those same beans and linquica piled on a stack of pancakes for breakfast remind me of my grandpa.

13. Is there a food you refuse to eat?
I really don't like any kind of poultry or anything too eggy (despite several notable exceptions).

14. What was your favorite food as a child?
"Parmesan Noodles," aka fettuccine alfredo.

15. Is there a food that you hated as a child but now like?
Beef stroganoff

16. Is there a food that you liked as a child but now hate?
Chicken.  Bologna sandwhiches with american cheese on white bread that only my grandma would make me.

17. Favorite fruit and vegetable:
Fruit - strawberries (and avocado!)  Veggie - broccoli

18. Favorite junk food:
McDonald's french fries

19. Favorite between meal snack:
Popcorn

20. Do you have any weird food habits?
More than I want to admit.  Grilled cheese with alfalfa sprouts.  Odd and childish candy (circus peanuts, mellocreme pumpkins, lic-a-stick).  Any and all pickled vegetables (including cocktail onions).

21. You’re on a diet. What food(s) do you fill up on?
Giant salads made in mixing bowls.

22. You’re off your diet. Now what would you like?
Mexican!

23. How spicy do you order Indian/Thai?
Medium.  I want to feel the burn but still taste my food.

24. Can I get you a drink?
Tang 10 martini, up, three olives.

25. Red or White Wine?
Both!

26. Favorite dessert?
Soft-serve ice cream with rainbow sprinkles.  But I would usually rather just have an after dinner cocktail; not a huge dessert person.

27. The perfect nighcap?
Disaronno on the rocks.  Seriously.

Cringing at the bologna sandwich, even as a kid I couldn't stomach those! Thanks for doing the survey!

Grilled cheese with sprouts is weird? I'm weird too then! Sprouts, tomato, and avocado... heaven. My mom also made a million different twists on grilled cheese for lunches when I was growing up. So simple, yet so good. Thanks for sharing! :)

Nice list. Great answer to the "how do you like your eggs" question!

My Mom must have fed me a thousand bologna, cheese and miracle whip sandwiches as a kid...I'm with you on that one!

So its another dirty secret, but I will sometimes make sandwiches with Miracle Whip and call them "Grandma Sandwiches." Ham and sharp cheddar though!

About Me
I love food. Seriously LOVE it. I often myself eating one thing and already planning my next meal. I love how it brings people together and acts as a social glue or focal point. Food was love in my family growing up and I have found myself taking on the same attitude as I establish my own household. Not so good for the dieting though. :)
My favorite things to cook
I love comfort food... mac and cheese is a house specialty, along with my great-grandma's tuna casserole. Fondue is always fun too (did I mention I love cheese?). I love experimenting and trying new recipes. My boyfriend is a meat and potatoes guy so I am always trying to find new recipes/methods that we both like. While not being a huge dessert person, I love to bake and try doing things from scratch.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom is a former hippie who married a meat and potatoes guy and loved to cook (gee is there a pattern here?) so I grew up with everything from grilled cheese with sprouts to tahini to slow cooked roast and augrautin potatoes. I also have a Portuguese grandma who makes amazing beans and Linguica, sweet bread, and "sopas" (thanks heavens for Goodgle, apparently what I grew up with as sopas at festa is really Sopa de Espirto).
My cooking triumphs
My first lemon meringue pie from scratch was a great moment. Any and all other random and/or elaborate desserts that have succeeded (see failed notes below).
My cooking tragedies
Mooshy, mooshy meringue cookies. Boston cream pie with cake layers that refused to rise. Deep dish pizza where the crust was so tough my dogs didn't like it.
