I'm The Mother of 5, 4 girls, 1 son. 19,17,13,12, &11. Just recently moved from my home state of Idaho to the southwest and I love it. I began cooking in high school my specialty at the time was casseroles, my cooking has changed throughout the years I like southwestern I like some bite, more so than my family. I'm the one out of my family who bakes my Grandmother's old german bread reciepes, I don't know why I'm the only one but I guess I'm game for the job. I don't bake as much as I did when the kids were little. I love to dig out my grandmother's bread & cookie recieps for the holidays (they were her mothers)I baked the cookies when the kids were young and covered the table with buthcer paper and let them frost and decorate to their hearts content, we still do this only 3 girls at home now, and they help with the baking. They love it.
