I’ve been cooking since I was a little girl. I used to invent these crazy recipes…my family was always afraid to try what I made. Now they can’t believe how good some of the food I make is.
My favorite things to cook
I love brunch! I like to make everything. I’m not a big red meat person so I don’t make much of it. I do make a great turkey chili.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake
Really good recipe. I used 3 egg whites instead of the 2 whole eggs. I also ran out of cream cheese I only had 12 oz of cream cheese I substituted the other 4 oz with ricotta cheese. I used fat free cream cheese. I added a layer of pecans. For some reason at the grocery store I went to the whole pecans were less expensive than the chopped. I chopped them up at home. I then drizzled caramel topping onto to it and a layer of whipped cream. I used the caramel ice cream topping. It came out delicious.

Flavorful Flounder
Nice Flavor. Words of advice never ever use frozen flounder, it becomes water logged and the recipe became mush.

Cheddar-Thyme Flaky Biscuits
First time biscuit maker! I really liked them. Didn’t use thyme or cream of tartar. I used block cheddar and I shredded it myself, made the biscuits tastier. The dough was incredible easier to work with. I cut the circles using a disposable plastic cup, the size was perfect. Next time I think I’m going to use less sugar and maybe add some bacon into the dough. I’ll keep you posted. Hope the review helps!
