Dough was very dry and difficult to work with, and cookies were subsequently dry and dense. Didn't use the cinnamon sugar coating, which left the cookies lacking in sweetness and flavor. Used a spicy frosting that helped a lot! This was a nice change from overly-sweet cut out cookies, but next time I'll hope to end up somewhere in between.

The flavor is excellent and the frosting sets fairly quickly, though I had a hard time getting it as thick as I would like. It really picked up some bland anise cookies!
