Aunt Johnnie's Pound Cake
I just made this today and here is how it comes out from the oven: although I used 1 tsp of almond and 1 tsp of vanilla exctract (as suggested from some reviewers) the almond taste was too much. The cake came out too dry and was too sweet that I could'n eat more of it. I don't think that I'm going to make this recipe again. But if I do I am surely cutting off some sugar.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
This recipe was spectacular. I prepared this as a main meal for me and my boyfriend and he was shocked because of the restaurant-like flavor. I made some modifications. I didn't have wild quick cooking rice so I used arborio rice. First, I sautee some fresh baby portobello mushrooms then added it to the boiling water and waited some minutes (like ten) for the rice to be cooked. Then followed the recipe as it is established but because I didn't have the seasoning packet I used some basil, parsley and fresh black pepper and salt to my taste.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
The muffins turn out very good. Next time I will look to add some personnal tweaks because it still needed something else even tough the flavor was good.
