Cooking is my passion, I love to cook for family and friends. I'm always asked to prepare dishes for special occasions and have privatly catered a couple weddings including my own. I am opening a restaurant/cafe within the next year and looking forward to it! I would call my style somewhere between down home and gourmet - comfort chic. I like to add updated twists to old recipes. I love to eat hearty soups in the winter and fresh veggies in the summer. My favorite bowl of food is chili mac! My grandmother was an awesome baker! I can make pretty much anything. I think the biggest triumph is that I'm not afraid in the kitchen, I try new recipes all the time! None really to report - if I make something and it doesn't come out right, I write it down and try to improve it next time.
