Chocolate Brittle Surprise

This disappeared so quickly I almost didn't get any!! Kids loved it, and the adults weren't shy about going back for more either. I would DEFINITELY recommend making this!

We loved this!!! The chicken turned out really tender and tasty. I did follow the idea of just coating the chicken in bread crumbs and then throwing it in the pan instead of frying it first. It was perfect. I also didn't have pineapple, so I mixed some mango chutney in with the water for a sweet yummy taste. We love spice, so I did add cayenne pepper to the bread crumbs and the sauce - it was delicious!! I sliced up baby potatoes and cooked it all together (but the potatoes need to be started earlier or they stay crunchy!). My husband immediately said, "make this the next time we have guests over!'

Tangy Shrimp and Scallops

Nutty Banana Bread

Yum! This was a deliciously moist banana bread! I also added choc. chips because that's how I love my banana bread... We couldn't stop eating it :)

Cod with Italian Crumb Topping

Yum! My husband loved this recipe. Not only was it simple, but it tasted wonderful! I also didn't use the egg white but followed the idea of using the sauteed garlic with lemon.. but instead of mayo I used Greek yogurt. I also don't really like black pepper, so I put in cayenne pepper instead. It added a bit of a kick we really enjoyed!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

I was really nervous to make a pie crust... my last one had been a disaster!! This one sounded really easy, and it was! I used butter b/c that's all I had... it worked really well... even rolling out the crust was really easy! I'll use this recipe again!

Polly Welby's Excellent Chocolate Mousse

I chose this recipe b/c I'm pregnant and needed a no-egg mousse. The other reviews helped a lot! I also folded the whipped cream into the chocolate. There were a few lumps at the end, but it still tasted wonderful!! I put a garnish of whipping cream on top with thinly sliced limes and lemons that I sugared.

Waldorf Salad III

A delicious recipe! I brought it to a buffet and it was gone in minutes. I did make a few changes... Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise ... and I love a Waldorf salad with walnuts in it. The lemon and orange juice were wonderful additions! All around, a yummy recipe :)

Cranberry Orange Bread

I'm in the UK for a year, but when - surprise of all surprises - I saw fresh cranberries at the store, I knew it was time to make cranberry bread! My recipe is packed away, so I needed a new one. This recipe was delicious!! I've made it twice, and it disappeared so quickly I almost didn't get a piece myself :) This will be my new cranberry bread recipe!!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

It was delicious!! So juicy and tasty! We had friends over.. not only did the chicken disappear quickly, but it was stripped down to the bones!! I will definitely follow this recipe again :)

Delicious Chicken Casserole

YUM!! I made this for the first time when some guests came over. Everyone loved it!! It is a bit time-consuming to make but completely worth it. I did add a bit of cheese and slivered almonds (for texture) in the mixture and cheese to sprinkle on top. It was a hit ;)
