I liked this recipe a lot. It is good as it is, but is also nice to experiment with. I didn't have raspberry vinegar, so I used red wine vinegar and some raspberry jam. That was great -- just reduce the sugar to taste. I also added a dash of salt and a few dashes of poppy seeds! It is great and easy to make! Shake up right before serving. I also like it drizzled over a veggie plate.

I hate to be the downer when everyone else loved this recipe, but it just disappointed me. The taste was good, but they were so thick that they were hard to spread and very hard to flip. As a result, they tasted ok but looked so ugly! Maybe I should have added more milk?

I made this following the recipe except that I used cooked pumpkin that I had in the fridge. When I mixed it up it didn't seem like enouch chocolate chips to me, so I added about a cup more. It was good, but not as pumpkiny as I would like. It mostly tasted like chocolate chip muffins with a mild pumpkin undertone. I think next time I would add more pumpkin and maybe leave out the water? I just wanted more of a strong chocolate-pumpkin taste! They were yummy though.
