I'm a 25 yr old Navy Wife who loves to cook for my family and friends. I love to entertain a house full of guests with great food and good laughs! I absolutely love to bake desserts. But when it comes to meals, there's nothing that brings me greater pleasure than spending all day in the kitchen creating a fabulous Thanksgiving feast! My family has a few specialties, and some of my favorites are Norweigan Cheese Bread and Country Fried Steak! I would have to say my greatest cooking triumph was my very first turkey dinner. It was the first Thanksgiving my husband and I shared. We invited 4 of the single sailors from his Work over to the house, who didn't have family or were unable to make it home for the holiday. I was rewarded with big smiles, full bellies and many thank yous! I have to admit I have had a few dinner tragedies. It seems on those days I spend preparing for a big, wonderful dinner for my husband's homecoming...I loose all concentration, and something is burned or forgotten. I'm usually so excited to see him again after being apart for months at a time!
