My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year at thanksgiving my mom makes a wonderful pumpkin pie with her grandmother's recipe. It is DIVINE.

I have managed to make divinity when it was raining.
My cooking tragedies
I once made a chocolate pie and added as much salt as i was supposed to add sugar and completely forgot to add sugar. hahaha.

German Chocolate Cheesecake
The cake is AWESOME. I made it for my boyfriend and he loved it! I also made it for a party and it was gone in 20 minutes!

Pecan Divinity
Divinity can only be made in certain weather. It cannot be made when it is raining outside or when it is overcast (cloudy). I also recommend one cup of sugar instead of 2 because the marshmallow creme that you add also has sugar in it. All the sugar from the marshmallow creme AND the 2 cups of suger is overwhelmingly sweet.
