My cooking tragedies
(Throws hands up in despair) Have totally given up on homemade chocolate chip cookies. After years of troublefree cookie baking, one day - about six (6) years ago - they started turn out flat as a pancake. I've read every tip & tried every trick in the book, and nada. Flat. Flat. Flat. No other cookie. Just chocolate chip. Flat. Flat. Flat. Argh.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice
I feel bad having to review this without actually being able to make the recipe as given (can't get my hands on sausage) - but what I did make was simply marvelous. Had to use spicy italian sausage (only 2, crumbled) and small red beans (not kidney), but the flavors were simply fantastic. Served with cornbread and salad and stumbled off to bed will full VERY satisfied tummy. Wonderful.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
After sampling this recipe, all I can say is that I ran to my local grocer and purchased 8 small hens ... we absolutely fell in love. Made exactly as directed - and wouldn't change a thing. Outstanding!

Easy Iced Coffee
So ridiculously easy and tasty, I simply had to give it 5 stars. I too used a small squirt of chocolate in coffee/water/sugar mixture before shaking, and poured over crushed ice. Wonderful. Thank you so much for recipe.
