I was born and raised in the south, north carolina that is. I now live in Ohio with my husband and 5 children. We all love to eat thats for sure, and i sure love to cook. I have 4 boys and a girl ..and if any of you do you for sure know they have bottomless pits..i would love to say im a stay home mom but as we all know in todays society that is almost impossible, im a full time mom, a full time wife and a full time cnc machinist so i have learned to make meals that are tasty and filling and do not take alot of time to creat. My favorite things to cook would have to be my grandma's southern fried chicken...and fresh greenbeans and ham with a side of corn bread,,,the south will always be in me.. As much as they say frying is horrible for you..i still love to sneak in some good ol fried foods.. my batter for pork chops and chicken is pretty much the same..coat the meat in egg and batter by hand in crushed cornflakes and itailan bread crumbs and flour with lots of spices..your choice..then throw them in the deep fryer !! YUM...may not be the best for ya but lordy is it good!!! Finding out at the last minute christmas dinner was at our house ..yikes...i did pretty good though..chicken paprikash..ham..greenbeans..corn bread..cheesy potatoe cass..pasta salad..deviled eggs..it was all yummy..but by the end of the day the wine was really enjoyed .. :.) and so was saying merry christmas and to all a goodnight... i have had many but thats how we learn...buts thats also why i love this site..reading others mistakes and changes is something i do first before even attempting a recipe..i love this site..
