I've been cooking for a while now, although not everything comes out perfect. I dream of one day becoming a pastry chef and opening a line of pastry shops. After high school I plan on attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Anything sweet is my thing. I prefer baking cakes, pies, and cookies. Sometimes I like baking breads, too; although the process is much longer. Usually, around Christmas time is when most the baking happens. We bake every cookie and holiday treat imagineable, one of which is the peanut butter balls. This peanut butter mixture is covered in chocolate. For Mother's Day last year, I made a two-tiered cake. This project took nearly a week's work. The bottom cake was a bittersweet chocolate with yellow buttercream frosting. The top was a white cake with pink frosting and different colored flowers. When time came to taste, I was relieved that the bittersweet chocolate tasted like bittersweet chocolate.
