I will not lie. I am a "weekend warrior" when it comes to cooking. I work long hours throughout the week and I spend my weekends scouring the web looking for new challenging recipes. My cooking is usually done on Saturday and Sunday evenings, and brings in all of the neighbors. I enjoy grilling and smoking. (Smoking food that is) I would have to say that with the price of Pork locally, it is my favorite to cook with. The local market has 10+lb pork shoulders for $0.89/lb, so you can't beat that. I have been experimenting with fish lately as we have been catching Rock Bass on the Chesapeke in the summer. Once again I can not tell a lie. I like to drink lager from the local brewery and spend 5+ hours slow cooking food on the grill with my brothers. I would have to say my "Pesca Dulce" is my best dish. Back in 7th grade I forgot to add baking powder to the crum cakes and they never rose. My "home ec" teacher did give me a decent grade though.
