My name is Maria and I'm a wife and mother to five beautiful children. Although my background is Italian, I have learned to cook Mexican food because of my husband's background. Lasagna, Enchiladas, Chile colorado and verde (shredded beef with red or green chile sauce), caldo de albondigas o pollo (soup with meatballs or chicken), pastas, cakes, tres leches cake (three milk cake), Chile con queso (veggies in green chile and cheese) and mole (brown sweet chile sauce. Growing up we always had pasta with Tucco (marinara) on Sundays. Learning to cook Mexican food and making better Mole than my mother in law. I burn things here and there, nothing tragic.
