My name is Maria and I'm a wife and mother to five beautiful children. Although my background is Italian, I have learned to cook Mexican food because of my husband's background.
My favorite things to cook
Lasagna, Enchiladas, Chile colorado and verde (shredded beef with red or green chile sauce), caldo de albondigas o pollo (soup with meatballs or chicken), pastas, cakes, tres leches cake (three milk cake), Chile con queso (veggies in green chile and cheese) and mole (brown sweet chile sauce.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up we always had pasta with Tucco (marinara) on Sundays.
