I am a wife and mother of two little boys. I just recently had a food allergy panel done which came back showing that I am allergic to all wheat products, egg, bananas and cranberries. At this point I am trying to relearn how to cook things without using so many of the ingredients that I have come so accostomed to using. My favorite things to cook/bake ironically are cakes. I make wedding cakes and birthday cakes. So needless to say I won't be able to have any taste tests of my own creations, I will have to leave that up to my family! :) My favorite family cooking traditions are that my Mom always made everything from scratch, mostly because we couldn't afford to buy it any other way but it was always so much better. I didn't inherit her skills in the kitchen besides the cake making. She can look in the cupboard and create anything out of nothing. My greatest cooking triumph was chicken marsala for my Mom's birthday last year. It was amazing, everyone said it was the best they had ever tasted! Which one?!
