I'm a new bride facing the cooking challenges that come with that title. Cooking and baking are relaxing to me when I have the time to prepare. I am always trying new recipies and constantly cashing in on beginner's luck when they turn out edible! I love baking and candy making (the more maticulus and detailed the better). I love stir-fry and whole grain pasta dishes, but my wow course is always the dessert... we all know it's everyone's favorite part of the meal, why not focus on it? 6 ft long apple streusel with my Oma, Hungarian gulosh with my Mom, peach cobbler and pecan pie with my Grandma, and sugar cookies with lemon frosting with my Dad. Feeding 75 people with the help of my sue chef husband! Yeah baby! Rock candy (I don't want to even go there), and gravy... what can I say, there is such a thing as too much flour!
