I'm an Airforce Brat born and raised. My mother is Swedish and my Father a Heinz 57 variety. I've been cooking most of my life. Both my brothers cook professionally. One of them specializes in Cajun, and the other in baking. I decided I liked to cook too much to do it for a living. Love to bake pies and cookies, Stews are a specialty. On Christmas Eve, we eat fish with boiled potatoes and cream gravy. Swedish tradition. To suprise my mother one day I baked her some cookies. Never having done it before apparently according to her and some other people I had a natural gift for making cookies. The same thing was said when I made my first pie. I can't make chicken. for some reason my chicken never gets cooked right. either to dry or not done or bland. just can't figure it out
