This Irish Bread brought lots of compliments! I brought it to work for St. Patrick's Day, and it was wiped out in no time! My only reason for rating it 4 stars is that the kneading was impossible! The dough is way too wet to knead. I suggest mixing as instructed and placing in the baking dish - it comes out just fine. I also used just 2 cups of raisins -- 3 is too much for me, but that's a matter of personal taste. Great Bread!!

White Bean with Fennel Soup

Good soup. I really couldn't taste the fennel, though - didn't want a strong anise flavor, but I was hoping for just a tad more. Couldn't "recognize" the fennel.

Luscious Lima Bean Soup II

This soup is very hearty and delicious! It's definitely a "winter soup." I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for a great recipe. There are many super slow cooker recipes on this site :-)

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Delish! For those who thought the chicken was dry, try cooking for less time but--even better--use chicken thighs as they are more moist than boneless breasts. I omitted salt and used fat-free chicken broth and also added some mushrooms toward the end. A keeper!

Slow Cooker Tuscan Beef Stew

This was great! I substituted Campbell's condensed onion soup for the beef broth to add more flavor. I also omitted the cannelini beans this time, as I served over noodles. The beans will be great, however, especially for a hearty stew on a cold, winter day! Try this recipe--you won't be disappointed.

Swedish Apple Pie

This pie is awesome! I read the reviews and decided to add a little more spice--used about a tsp of pumpkin pie spice with the apples. Also used half and half white and brown sugar on the topping--it comes out nice and brown. Will make this again and again - it was a real hit.
