About this Cook
My name is Sam, and I'm 14 years old. I'm an aspired cook.
My favorite things to cook
Dinner and desserts: cookies, pastas, casseroles, etc.
My cooking triumphs
Chicken Enchiladas were a blast for the whole family. Ginger cookies made wonderful and delicious holiday treats for everyone - even my out-of-state friends! Turkey Tetrazzini II was so good, I think I'll be looking forward to turkey leftovers in the future. Pasta, broccoli and chicken was good too.
My cooking tragedies
Starting out cooking, you'll have tragedies. When I signed up for this website, I made only tragedies, thus my username came along. Everything I baked turned out to taste like a shoe!

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake
WOW! I made this for my mother's 40th birthday and everyone could not get enough of this cake! I got compliments all throughout the night, people wanted to take slices home and everyone wanted seconds and thirds. This is a cake that can sell! The chocolate chips don't melt at all in the cake and it tastes just like a brownie cake. Instead of icing I used melted chocolate chips on the top and drizzled it with Hersheys chocolate syrup. Beautiful and delicious. I will keep this recipe for a very long time.

Fresh Blueberry Pie II
I made this for Father's day and it was SO delicious. It's 4 stars because the instructions were not clear and that made me feel very insecure while making the pie. If anyone else is lost and is using a top pie crust as well, this is what I did: 1. I laid a 9inch pre-made Pillsbury pie crust in a glass pie pan, baked it at 350 degrees for 10 minutes BEFORE EVERYTHING. 2. Pulled it out of the oven and poured a box of blueberries in the semi-baked shell. 3. Combined the rest of the ingredients in a sauce pan, including the remaining 2pints of blueberries. 3. Cooked it for lower heat until the sauce pan was high in blueberry sauce. You can add cinnamon or vanilla if you want. 4. Poured it on top of the uncooked blueberries in the pie, added a top criss-cross pie layer and baked it at 450 for about 11-13 minutes.

Angel Chicken Pasta
Delicious. Used sour cream instead of cream cheese.
