Taco Seasoning I

A little spicy for our tastes, but not bad taste wise. It would replace store bought for me, but when I didn't have the store bought this was an easy go to recipe.

Garlic Alfredo Tilapia

This was very good, the only reason I didn't rate it at 5 stars was because I felt that the 1 tbl of Creole seasoning was a little too much. It turned out a little more spiced than it should have been. It was great, I doubled the alfredo sauce, and made some pasta and broccoli to go with it. The fish was very good, but again, a little more seasoned than it should have been. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will only use a half tablespoon of Creole seasoning and see how that turns out.

Balsamic Baked Tilapia

This was edible, but that's about all I can say for it. I thought it sounded odd, but figured it had so many great reviews that I'd give it a try. I made it exactly as the recipe states. I didn't change anything. Maybe it's just my tastes, but my girls and I did not enjoy this meal. My husband said that it was decent, but he wasn't thrilled with it. I will not be making this again.

Blackberry Cobbler

This is really great. I did a few things differently. I used the flour mixture in the notes, and instead of cinnamon, I used a sweet cinnamon sprinkle that I had instead. It was really good, everyone loved it, and it was very homemade. I didn't know whether or not it was going to turn out because of the way it looked right after pouring the sugar in it, but I baked it and all was well. I did bake at 425 for 30 minutes, and then added the sugar, and baked at 375 for 15 minutes, only because I was making other items, but it worked. Next time, I'll add different berries to the mixture though. I enjoyed the blackberries, but think this recipe would be great with some other berries added into it.

Pumpkin Pie I

This was delicious, I made it twice. The first time, was the exact recipe, no straying, and it was good. The second time I added vanilla, cloves, and allspice. Also, I think there was a mistake in the directions and going off of what everyone else said, I put it in for 450 for 10 minutes, then at 375 (not 325) for 30 minutes. It turned out perfectly.

Mini Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins

These are excellent, I didn't change anything, they were moist and perfect. I did take a hint from someone else and added the butterscotch chips to the dry to make them not sink to the bottom. The flavors really mesh well together, I will definately be making these again!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

This was sooo good, the only difference I made was definately the Kale rather than spinach, makes a huge difference. Not sure how the spinach would have tasted. I also used less red pepper flakes because my kids were eating this soup with me and aren't a fan of spicy foods. I did add more garlic than called for. I added two large cloves rather than just one. Definate keeper!

Lemon Pepper Cod

I thought this was really good. I did add a little bit of garlic with parsley, and it turned out great! I did not add the vegetable oil though. Wanted to cut out some of the fat! Thanks for the recipe.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

These were absolutely delicious. I used a 16 oz pckg of maple sausage, and I had to use ff milk since thats all we had, so I added just a tiny bit more flour, probably two tbl worth, it turned out perfectly, I also used some reduced fat bisquick mix for the biscuits, AMAZING! =)
