Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
This is a very tasty chicken dish. Did the recipe as is but didn't think it had enough flavor so I will add some seasoning next time. I didn't add anything extra because so many reviews said it was salty. I will add garlic, pepper next time for sure. Delicious with mashed potatoes. Next time I won't brown before because it was not needed.

Simple Country Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
I was looking for a recipe that I could cook in the stove and this was it. I boiled (40 min) my ribs in 36 oz of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. 2 cups of apple juice and 2 bottles of beer. So...good. Then I put them on a lined cookie sheet using aluminum foil. Covered. Cooked in over for 30 minutes. Removed the top cover of foil and broiled for another 10 minutes to make the top just right. These were so good. Thanks for sharing the recipe. (I also added a pinch of pepper and salt)

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
I was very skeptical of this recipe since the only CT soup I have ever had was from Chili's...Don't laugh. I decided to try this recipe because of all the great reviews and it was simply delicious. Put all the ingredients in the night before and it was done when I woke up the next morning. So easy, and tastes so good. I also threw the chicken in frozen. It streads so easy after simmering all night. Used 3 chicken breasts but next I will only use 2 breasts so it will have more broth. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
Absolutely delicious. This is the easiest cookie recipe I have ever made. I made two different batches because the variety of cookies is endless. Marble cake with peanut butter pieces....and chocolate with chocolate chips. I think I will be more creative next time....

Pancakes I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
I love pancakes and this recipe is delicious. I pre-made my batter and left it in the refrigerator. I made enough for a few days too. Can't wait to have them again tomorrow. If you pre-make don't stir the batter before making your pancakes and you will have fluffier pancakes to eat. Thanks for sharing.

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
I got rave comments on how delicious this recipe was and to make sure I make it again. It was very easy and delicious. I used ramikins but I am sure either way would work great. Use your cooking spray and tip over to remove while hot. Thank you for sharing.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
The pot pie was good but a little on the dry side. I doubled the sauce but I needed a deep dish to cook with instead. I will try this recipe again and add more sauce.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
I did this recipe just like it said but my rib roast was well done and dry. Thank heavens I made gravy. Not sure why except it could be my LaCreuset pot cooks faster than the directions say. Will try again but less time in the oven. (I did not peek either)

Cream Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
These are very good cupcakes. The cupcakes came out perfect with no changes to the recipe. The filling was also very good with no changes to the recipe. Need to experiment with another frosting because it wasn't the best that I got from this website.

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

I used this recipe in the crock pot. I left it to cook while I was at work and the meat just fell off the bone when we ate it. Delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
I doubled the soup so I could have extra gravy. I combined all the soups together and poured over the meat. I was very good. I added 1 tbsp Worchester sauce, red wine for taste. Great with mashed potatoes, extra mushrooms and carrots.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I made this recipe the night before and had to try it out. My husband said he didn't want any after his 4th bite. This is a delicious recipe. I added 1 teaspoon of vanilla because I like vanilla. Thank you for sharing.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2009
I made the mistake of forgetting to tell my husband not to buy the cake mix with the pudding in it. I used it anyways and it came out way to soft. BUY MIX WITHOUT PUDDING. I cut back on the oil to 1/2 cup, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup of coffee and cooked it at 350 for 50 minutes. Even though I didn't make it correct it was eaten up within 2 hours at work. Everyone loved it. So, it's really good even when you don't make it right. DON'T put in the refrigerator. If you want to put fruit in the middle of the cake don't do it until you are ready to serve. Sprinkle with powered sugar and I used the Santiny chocolate glaze. Remember small pieces because 600 caleries is a lot. This recipe is a keeper.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
This is a delicious recipe. I made the marinade the night before and ended up not cooking it for two days. I substituded raspberry vinegar for the sherry. The taste was great. I seared the pork first and then turned down the heat until it was done. It only took 20 minutes to cook.

This is a good recipe. I don't like bread crumbs on my mac and cheese so I choose to eliminate that step. I also substituted sour cream for cream cheese. I will try this again.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
Easy pie to make. Simple and delicious. Use the ready made pie crust when you are short on time. I added cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. I mixed the apples in the sauce before putting them in the pie shell. Then I saved some of the sauce and spread it on the top of the crust before cooking. My husband loved the crust that way. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
