Try this for your apple filling instead...it keeps the bisuit dough from getting soggy....2/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. all purpose flour, 1 Tbsp. cinnamon, pinch of salt, a dash of ground cloves. Mix this in a mixing bowl and place in the middle of the rolled out biscuit discs. Pinch the edges to seal them. Brush lightly with butter. Combine 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 3 Tbsp of sugar and sprinkle it over the discs. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. See how that does for ya
