About this Cook
I am married and have three small children which keep me busy as a stay at home mom. I am also currently going to school for Nursing and my husband for Criminal Justice.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking anything. Oddly I like to cook things from scratch even though it takes much longer to prepare.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday dinners and desserts! Yummy
My cooking triumphs
I have only had a few things turn out bad the first time but I always tried it again and perfected it.
My cooking tragedies
None really. I try to stay within the range that I know I can do. I am getting better at doing more cuisine style dinners, but prefer quick and easy.

Chunky Potato Soup
Super Yummy! All 4 of my kids and my husband loved this. Did make a few changes though-I doubled the recipe and used about 1/2tsp celery salt instead of celery, used chedder cheese sauce in place of the chicken broth, and threw in some chicken cubes to add in the chicken flavor called for, and did not use flour since the cheese sauce thickens and skipped the shredded cheese. Loved this and will make again!

Supreme Scalloped Potatoes
I made this last night and it was awesome. I doubled the recipe and used the remarks from some of the comments. I added more ceddar soup to give it more of a cheesy flavor and through it all in a pan-mixed well-and through it in the oven. I will be making this again.
