I am married, and have 4 children of which 3 have already left the nest, so I am learning to downsize. I work outside the home so meals have to be an organized event. on weekends I make a more elaborate meal, weekdays, I leave instructions for the 17 year old, and she then cooks,It works out well. I love to make home made soup, I always get rave reviews. there are some other great ones that I like to make as well. One family favorite is cranberry relish, My dad would bring it to all the family events, now I do. Birthday dinners are special as the birthday person gets to pick their favorite meal. There have been a few but recently there was the pesto stuffed chicken breast. We also really liked the garlic lime chicken I made the other night. Usually my best dishes are experimental.. I tend to be a "dump" cook HA HA cooking tragedies! where do I begin, For years I was a single parent, so there was plenty to go amiss.
