I love to try new recipes and find this website to be very helpful! I appreciate all of the comments about various recipes I research and try. I am currently preserving in a scrapbook format all of my grandmother's recipes and am thoroughly enjoying the process:) I enjoy trying to bake desserts such as cakes, muffins, and cookies. I enjoy cooking both cold and hot pasta dishes. I love baking bread and making homemade soups. I also like cooking various casseroles. My grandmother used to manage a cafeteria at a University in Wisconsin. She made some of the best dishes I'd ever had but a few of my favorites were her hamburger soup, any of her duck/venison dishes, and all of her baked goods. My favorite dessert that I attempt to make for the holidays each year is her infamous 'Frozen Dessert'. Hmm...I am trying to work on gaining a few triumphs...but I do make a nice potato dumpling soup:) There's been quite a few!
